Everything I’ve eaten here has been delicious. My favorite is their MJK chicken and the curry chicken. The beef patties are great too. Their lunch specials are well served and enough for 2 people, and very affordable.
That food was gooooooood ! Seems like someone was happy and full of love while they cooked my food ! I truck drive and haven’t had a home cooked meal like that in a looooooong time ! Sure appreciate you folks ! And there was enough meat on them oxtails ! Thank yall , I think I love ya !
I will be coming back every time to enjoy the most authentic Jamaican food in Memphis. Visit their new store front location or their truck and you will not regret giving it a try. I suggest the curry chicken, the spice is hot but bareable you like spicy food. Plantains and oxtail are next choice, very favorable!
Memphis Jamaican looks a little sketchy on the outside but is full of luster on the inside. Everything I got was a bit pricy but absolutely worth it. They do have cheaper dishes but we got the ox tail, goat curry, jerk chicken, mjk chicken and some patties. If you like spicy, get the cabbage. It will light you up. The staff was very kind and helpful. If you’ve never had Jamaican, you’re missing out.
The best authentic Jamaican food in the city. The jerk chicken was amazing, the peas and rice had the touch of sweetness to balance the jerk chicken and my God the cabbage was delicious. I just happened to pass by and the sign says open but actually soft opening is tomorrow. Yeah I was their first customer! And definitely will be returning. Great customer service! If you love Jamaican cuisine you won’t regret this place
Some of the best food I have had in Memphis! Every bite was was powerful and very very tasty. It was so perfect I couldn’t help but dig in my plate in the parking lot. 10/10 I do recommend. I’ll be back!

Went here on Thursday night.. Ryan was super cool... very polite and professional. Restaurant was clean. I order the Oxtail plate with steamed cabbage and mac with a Jamaican Soda. Prices very reasonable given today’s market conditions. I will return to try other things on the menu. Ryan spoke about them doing live music and such on the weekends... He didn’t mention when, something new and different.
